About Us

The New Cari.com is the brainchild of Article Ghetto Yutes founders City Skyline, Tassja Walker and AKCreative founder, Andrea K. Castillo. We are inspired by CARICOM, “the intergovernmental organization of 15 member states throughout the Caribbean having primary objectives to promote economic integration and cooperation among its members, to ensure that the benefits of integration are equitably shared, and to coordinate foreign policy.”

As children of the diaspora, Jamaica and Belize respectively, we are a collective of creators, artists and entrepreneurs of Caribbean heritage who are currently working to preserve and promote our culture. With the New Cari.com, we aim to foster collaboration between our community by uplifting personal and creative stories, tying back to our homelands.
